Three-ring binder: unnumbered pages
The Fernside Idea Book was created for support group facilitators, counselors and therapists, teachers and administrators and other helping professionals who are working with grieving children, adolescents, and adults in a peer support group setting. However, all these activities (over 180) are designed to be easily adapted to working with individuals. The activities can also be adapted to any age level. The activities are organized into nine theme-related categories. The themes are interchangeable which will allow you to support the needs of the groups or individuals with whom you are working.

Since 1986, Fernside has offered support and advocacy to grieving children and their families. Through their peer support groups, crisis response and camp programs they serve hundreds of children and their parents/guardians every year. Since 2001 they have been affiliated with Hospice of Cincinnati, and with the support from individual and corporate grants and donations they are able to provide their services free of charge.
