This preschool edition of the Mourning Grief Support Group series gives a large variety of fun and engaging activities and Denny the Duck Stories to use with very young children who are experiencing a loss. Through these stories children learn to identify and express feelings. They discover ways they can help themselves and others.

This curriculum to facilitate the mourning of pre-school children also has a leaders handbook (see #C03V). This preschool edition provides information for preschoolers about death, coping, and self-care . Sessions normalize a variety of grief styles. Activities help youth express feeling and gain insight into the meaning of the loss. Up to 10 sessions are given in each age group.
