This valuable visual aid is a map that shows some of the places we may visit when loss happens in our lives. It has been used with great success for children as well as adults to understand the experiences of grieving losses of all kinds. The coordinator of a children's grief camp wrote "We created a nature walk to coordinate with the map. We mowed a swath through a big lot coordinating with the path of the map. We built various props to represent the places on the map."
This unique package includes an 11 X 17 laminated map for display and a nine page booklet which explains how to use the map to help children express their feelings and understand how they are affected by loss. A copy of the map is provided to color, write, or draw on. It can be reproduced, and used for non-profit purposes.
